We began celebrating Colten's birthday a week early by going to the Discovery Gateway as a family. Tabitha had an enjoyable time playing in water, riding a horse, shopping at the store, and driving a jeep. And we had a fun time watching her.
On the actual day of his birthday, March 21, we started the day off with a Blueberry Cake Breakfast and a Happy Birthday note on his work truck. Lisa and the girls then dropped off balloons and a candy bar poster board at his work to surprise him. That evening we sang Happy Birthday and ate ice cream cake. A few days later, we went out to eat at his favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. We wanted to make sure he had a memorable week.
Looks like Colten had a great birthday week! I think all birthdays should be celebrated for a week! They only come around once a year, why not live them up!? How fun that you could do all those things for his special day!
