For one of our family activities, we went to the Kennecott Copper Mine for a free tour during the month of May. The way everything works at the copper mine is very impressive. As you can see, the wheels on the trucks are massive. We toured the visitor center, saw a video on how the copper mine worked, and watched the big trucks driving in and out of the copper mine from the lookout point.
