One of the activites we did this summer was to bowl since we signed Tabitha up to get free bowling all summer long. She loved to roll the bowling ball and hit the pins.
At one point, she asked if she could roll the ball without using the metal guide. I said that was fine, but as soon as she rolled it, I realized that it wasn't even going to make it to the pins. I turned around to see if there were any workers close by who could retrieve the ball, and of course two of the workers were watching us and smiling. One of the them said to blow really hard and maybe it would keep rolling. He was nice to get the ball back for us. We made sure Tabitha used the metal guide the rest of the time.
We just finished up swimming lessons for Tabitha. Her favorite part was playing in the kiddie pool. For this being her first year of swimming lessons, she did good at floating with her instructors and jumping into the water. She didn't quite get to the point where she would go under the water, but she did blow bubbles and get her cheeks wet, which was a big improvement from day 1 of swimming.
